I am fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist BSc Hons. and pre accredited member of IACP. I work from a non- directive, integrative perspective allowing the wisdom of our bodies' nervous system to guide our work. I believe that we only change in an environment of psychological safety, especially if we are survivors of developmental and complex trauma; using the Polyvagal Theory to create this safe space I aim to meet my clients where they are at, with kindness, and help reorient to a less confusing, more peaceful path.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, complex trauma and addiction.
I work integratively, using psychodynamic, Gestalt, somatic and CBT modalities, when trust and safety have been established, underpinned by following The Polyvagal Theory.
BSc. Hons Middlesex University. I have completed CPD courses in The Polyvagal Theory, IFS (Internal Family Systems) Couples Counselling, Working therapeutically with ASD and Motivational Interviewing.
